چکیده

Evaluation of wheat genotypes under different environments is essential for testing stability their performance and range adaptations. Where, enhanced grain yield has been achieved in bread (Tritium aestivum L.) through the development adaptable, high-yielding, rust-resistant by evaluating advanced multi-environment trials. The adaptability a genotype over diverse usually tested degree its interaction with which it grown. This study examines fifteen two consecutive years (2016 2017) across eight locations Ethiopia. experiment was laid out using Randomized Complete Block design replicated three times intending to determine high-yielding release best performing as variety end-user. Highly significant (P ≤ 0.001) effects genotype, environment, environment were observed yield. AMMI analysis variance indicated that accounted 52.34% total sum squares (genotype yields ranged from 5.76 t/ha at E-11 1.31 E-7). followed (22.95%) (11.31%).The ETBW8260 (G4) exhibited high mean well performed environments. selected early maturing, yielding, resistant yellow rust fitting low midland growing areas advantage standard Ogolcho local Kakaba. Both are dispersed widely all quadrants AMMI-1 biplot. As per YSI (#15) ETBW8303 (G2), ETBW8454 (G12), ETBW8261 (G5), ETBW8406 (G10), ETBW8310 (G3), (G4), stable. Besides, (G4 highest good stability. Therefore, after one-year verification trial, released commercial 2019 designated name called “Balcha” recommended low-medium part production agroecology country.

Effects of genotype and environment on breadmaking quality in wheat

Background: It has long been recognized that bread making quality traits vary considerably as a result of genotype, environment and their interaction. The present study was aimed at determining the effect of cultivar, environment and their interaction on several bread making quality traits as well as to analyze relationship between these traits, Methods: Hundred forty wheat genotypes originated...

Evaluation of genotype × environment interaction in durum wheat (Triticum turgidum var. durum L.) regional yield trials

The objective of this experiment was to analyze genotype × environment (GE) interaction for grain yield of 20 durum wheat genotypes to identify the yield stability and adaptability of genotypes using GGE biplot method as well as some univariate stability statistics. The genotypes were evaluated in three rainfed stations of Sararood (Kermanshah), Maragheh and Shirvan, Iran under both rainfed and...

Interpreting Genotype × Environment Interaction in Bread Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Genotypes Using Nonparametric Measures

The objectives of this study were to compare nonparametric stability measures, and to identify promising high-yield and stable bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes in 7 environments during 2003-2005 in the central Black Sea region of Turkey. The bread wheat genotypes (20 advanced lines and 5 cultivars) were grown in a randomized complete block design with 4 replications in 7 different e...
